About The Head Pro

Golf is more fun when you know what you’re doing, and still have plenty left to discover.

The Head Pro began with a simple idea: golfers deserve one place that shares their excitement for the game and helps them make better decisions about it.

Golf can take you from a windswept local course to a championship venue on the other side of the world. It can send you down a rabbit hole comparing shafts, have you replaying one approach shot all evening, or make you realise that the smartest play was the one you nearly overlooked. That mix of curiosity, challenge and possibility is why we love it.

We created The Head Pro to bring those parts of golf together: news that explains what matters, equipment coverage that helps you understand your options, course and travel stories that make you want to pack your clubs, and practical advice you can take into your next round.

We take the game seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. We ask good questions, explain things clearly, and remember that golf should be fun, even after a three-putt.
