J.Lindeberg FW26 first look: seven pieces from €60 to €330

J.Lindeberg's Fall/Winter 2026 range takes its cue from the mountains. Seven pieces worth a look, from a merino beanie to a PrimaLoft hybrid jacket, and who each one suits.

J.Lindeberg’s Fall/Winter 2026 range, announced at the end of August, borrows from skiwear. The Swedish label pitches it as one connected winter wardrobe for the course, the slopes and the city.

Chief creative officer Neil Lewty calls it a line that blends “performance and sophistication”, and the four pieces the brand put at the front of the launch are all here, alongside three more from the wider FW26 range that fill the gaps. Prices below are as listed on J.Lindeberg’s European online store at the time of writing; the US store, jlindebergusa.com, carries the range in dollars.

Maclean Quarter Zip Hood, €150 (men’s)

The hoodie at the centre of the men’s launch is cut from what the brand calls TX Stretch Fleece, a four-way stretch polyester-elastane fabric with a brushed inside, so the warmth comes without the bulk of a cotton hoodie. The short zip has a chin guard and a stay-down puller.

It has contrast panelling and raised logos on the chest, back and hood. It comes in Black, Winetasting, Set Sail and Brindle. If you prefer a full-length zip, the Maclean Zip Hood is €155.

Waren Crewneck Windbreaker, €160 (men’s)

A windbreaker you pull on like a sweatshirt. The shell is Flex Tech 2.0, a laminated woven fabric at 49 g/m², which J.Lindeberg says blocks wind and sheds light rain, with a stretch mesh lining against the skin. A cord at the hem pulls it in against gusts and the pockets zip shut.

It is a layer for dry, blustery days; keep a proper shell in the bag for anything heavier than a shower. Colours are JL Navy and Moonbeam.

Ariadne Knit Quarter Zip, €160 (women’s)

A fine 16-gauge knit in viscose and recycled polyester, with a pointelle pattern and contrast stripes; the open texture is meant to let air through on a brisk walk. Treat it as an autumn layer over a base layer. Forest Biome and Winetasting are the colours, and the site was flagging the green as selling fast when we looked.

Clarissa Windbreaker Sweater, €170 (women’s)

It looks like a fine-knit crewneck, but behind the knit is a full woven polyester lining that the brand says stops the breeze before it reaches you.

It comes in Brindle and JL Navy, with an embroidered logo on the chest and a knitted script logo across the back.

Pinja Fleece Twill Pant, €190 (women’s)

The other half of the women’s launch takes the shape of J.Lindeberg’s Pinja trouser and bonds a fleece interior to a four-way stretch nylon-spandex twill, so you get warmth on the legs without the bulk of thermals underneath. Zipped side pockets are mesh-lined, and the fabric is Bluesign certified.

Black and JL Navy are the options. The standard, unlined Pinja Pant stays in the range at €140 if your winters are milder.

Merino Beanie, €60 (unisex)

It is mulesing-free merino wool in a close rib knit, with a fold-up brim to cover the ears and a tonal logo on the front. The brand says this one is slim enough to sit under a hood.

Colours run JL Navy, Black, Winetasting and Forest Biome, the same palette as the knitwear. On a tighter budget, the Tilo Beanie is €40.

Thaden Knit Hood Hybrid Jacket, €330 (men’s)

The body is knitted from a wool blend, with woven Flex Tech panels at the hood and key zones for wind resistance, and 133g PrimaLoft Black Rise insulation sandwiched between. A two-way front zip helps when you need to turn freely over the ball.

It sits in the wider FW26 range rather than the golf line. For cold, dry days it makes a single warm outer layer; in rain you will still want a shell over it.

Start with the windbreakers

The standouts are the two windbreaker pieces, the Waren and the Clarissa, because they solve the most common autumn problem (wind, not rain) without making you look dressed for a storm. The Maclean hoodie is the safe all-rounder, and the Pinja Fleece Twill Pant is the one women golfers who play through winter should look at first. Start with one versatile layer, the hoodie or the women’s trousers, and add the beanie for the price of a dozen balls.
