Compliance Solutions set to back the Austin Championship

Compliance Solutions, which sponsors a Korn Ferry Tour event, is expected to be named presenting sponsor of the PGA TOUR's Austin Championship, played 12 to 15 November. The one-year deal is reported to be worth less than Good Good's $6 million.

Compliance Solutions, a Florida accounting and tax firm, is expected to be named presenting sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s Austin Championship, Golfweek reported on Thursday. The tournament is played from 12 to 15 November at Omni Barton Creek in Austin.

The deal covers 2026 alone and does not include naming rights, Front Office Sports reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The company is also paying less than the $6 million that Good Good had committed as title sponsor and host. The tour will pay the $6 million purse itself, with $1.08 million to the winner, according to the same report. The PGA TOUR declined to comment.

The event was launched as the Good Good Championship. The YouTube group pulled out on 27 August, the day Callaway ended its partnership with the group over an advert for a co-branded driver. In the advert, Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark shoves the creator Alexis Miestowski to the ground.

Compliance Solutions has been title sponsor of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Compliance Solutions Championship since 2023. Sandy Scott won it this year at The Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma. This season the company also put up a $100,000 bonus pool for the Route 66 Cup, a four-event competition; Tommy Morrison took the $66,000 first prize.

Will Zalatoris, who has not played since April, has a sponsor’s invitation to Austin. He is due to have spinal-fusion surgery at the end of November.
