Alexander wins Wistron Ladies Open, seals LET Order of Merit
Casandra Alexander came from one behind with a bogey-free 64 to win the Wistron Ladies Open on −21, three clear of Hannah Screen, for her third LET title of 2026.
Casandra Alexander has 3,456.48 points on the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit, more than twice the 1,685.70 of Canada’s Anna Huang in second. With two events left, she cannot be caught, according to the tour. The points that settled it came on Sunday at Sunrise Golf and Country Club in Taoyuan, where the South African won the Wistron Ladies Open with a bogey-free 64, finishing on −21, three shots clear of England’s Hannah Screen.
She started the final round one behind Ching Huang of Chinese Taipei, who had shot 65 on Saturday to reach −14. Alexander birdied the 3rd, 6th, 9th and 10th, reached the par-5 13th in two and holed the eagle putt, then birdied the 16th and 18th. Ching Huang went round in 71 and finished fifth on −15.
Screen, two behind at the start of the day, made six birdies in her last ten holes for a 66 and finished on −18. It was her best result on the LET and lifted her from 44th to 20th on the Order of Merit. Mimi Rhodes, also English, shared third with Pei-Ying Tsai on −17 and climbed from 112th to 67th.
“That was pretty spectacular, that’s the most comfortable I have felt in a final round,” Alexander said.
Her total of 267 is nine shots lower than any previous 72-hole winning score at the event, which has been played at Sunrise since 2020 and co-sanctioned by the LET since 2024. Chiara Tamburlini won with 276 in 2024; last year’s edition was cut to 36 holes and won by Yani Tseng.
This is Alexander’s fourth LET title and her third of the season, after the KPMG Women’s Irish Open at The K Club in August and the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open in September. It is also her third win in five LET appearances, according to the tour. The purse in Taoyuan was US$1.2 million, up from US$1 million in 2024 and 2025.
