Winner report
Katsuragawa wins in Korea and climbs to 28th in the Race to Dubai
Yuto Katsuragawa closed with a level-par 71 to win in Korea by two on −13. He started the week 106th in the Race to Dubai, outside the top 100 who keep full cards; the win takes him to 28th and into both Play-Off events.
Yuto Katsuragawa made one birdie in the final round of the Genesis Championship, a 27-footer at the 4th, and finished two clear on −13. He parred the next 13 holes and tapped in for bogey at the 18th for a level-par 71 at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan. Frederic Lacroix (68) and Martin Couvra (69) tied second on −11.
The cheque was €606,547.76, or US$680,000 from the US$4 million fund. Katsuragawa arrived in Korea 106th in the Race to Dubai, outside the top 100 who keep full cards for 2027. The exemption from his first DP World Tour win, the 2024 ISPS Handa Championship in Japan, runs out at the end of the season. He leaves Korea 28th, inside the top 70 who go to the Play-Offs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Genesis says the title also carries two-year exemptions on the DP World Tour and the KPGA Tour.
“After the first win, I had such a hard time but having the second win, this is definitely the greatest moment of my life,” he said.
His third-round 63 had equalled the course record and put him two clear of Casey Jarvis. Jarvis birdied the 5th and 8th to close the gap, then made double bogey at the 9th, according to GolfMagic. Antoine Rozner, three back at the start, found water at the 13th and also made double bogey. Jarvis shot 72 and shared fourth on −10 in a group of seven that included Ryan Fox, Si Woo Kim and the KPGA Tour’s points leader, Sanghun Shin. Eugenio Chacarra, who leads the Race to Dubai, tied 22nd on −6.

Crocker’s 29 keeps the last card
As the last regular-season event, it also decided the final full cards for 2027. Sean Crocker was three over for his round at the turn. He birdied the 10th and 11th, then the last four holes, chipping to a foot at the 18th, for a back nine of 29 and a 68. That left him tied 34th on −4 and 100th in the Race to Dubai, the last place with a full card.
“That was probably one of the better back nines I’ve ever played with circumstances and everything going on there,” Crocker said.
The Play-Offs start in Abu Dhabi on 5 November, and the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai runs from 12 to 15 November.
