Thitikul survives late scare to win the LOTTE Championship

Jeeno Thitikul recovered from a double bogey on the 16th to win in Hawaii on 21 under, three clear of Ina Yoon. It is her fourth LPGA Tour title of 2026, drawing her level with Nelly Korda.

Jeeno Thitikul closed with a four-under 68 at Hoakalei Country Club on Oahu to win the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei on 21 under par, three shots clear of South Korea’s Ina Yoon. It is her fourth LPGA Tour win of 2026 and the 11th of her career, and it pulls her level with Nelly Korda for the most wins on tour this season.

Thitikul took a three-shot lead into Sunday after a back-nine birdie run in the third round. She turned in 33 and was still three clear with three to play. According to AP, she drove into the water at the par-four 16th and made double bogey. That dropped her to 19 under, level with Yoon. The tie lasted one hole: Thitikul birdied the 17th while Yoon bogeyed it, and a birdie at the par-five 18th made the final margin three.

Field Level Media reports she hit 11 of 14 fairways and 16 of 18 greens on Sunday. Yoon made 26 birdies across the four rounds, the most of anyone in the field.

The win is worth $450,000 and, according to AP, takes Thitikul past $20 million in career earnings at the age of 23. Her record now stands at 11 wins and 65 top-10 finishes from 101 LPGA starts. She is No. 2 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings behind Korda.

The LPGA now heads to Asia for a five-event swing, starting with the Buick LPGA Shanghai on 15–18 October, where Thitikul is the defending champion.
